Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team at Estilo Boutique. You'll be the face of our store, guiding customers through personal styling and outfit-building — not just pointing them to racks. You'll also support the team with inventory and operational tasks to keep the boutique running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Style customers one-on-one: build full looks, suggest pairings, and offer outfit options based on their body type, lifestyle, and the occasion they're shopping for (work, date night, an Austin event, travel)
- Serve as a go-to resource on fit, fabric, and how pieces work together — not just what's trending
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, tagging, and organizing merchandise
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor
- Collaborate with the team to hit sales goals through styling-led selling, not just transactions
- Support in-store styling events and promotions as needed
Qualifications
- A genuine eye for styling and putting outfits together — retail sales experience without a styling sensibility isn't the fit here
- Outgoing, warm personality with real interest in getting to know customers and their needs
- Strong communication skills — able to ask the right questions to understand what someone actually needs
- Flexible availability, including weekdays and weekends
- Previous retail or styling experience a plus, but a genuine passion for fashion matters more
Compensation
Salary will be discussed and determined based on the candidate's experience level.
