This season, you'll see many trends: cold shoulders, Breton stripes, and lingerie-inspired "going out" tops just to name a few. Of course, while cute and trendy, these looks aren't accessible for everyone. That's why we're focusing on the easiest trend out there: blue.
We're still feeling a lot of residual love for the dusty pink that ruled the streets last year; but going forward, we think blue is having its moment. Here are some of our favorite pieces from Estilo that incorporate this universally flattering hue.
Bell Bottom Blues
Clients love our Equipment signature tops for a good reason: they're versatile, comfortable, and never go out of style. The Equipment Reagan Top takes their standard silk and re-works it into a throw-it-on-and-go tank with classic blue striped detail. We paired it with the dark, slimming J Brand Maria Flare High Rise in Dark Innovation. Wear the shirt untucked to emphasize the laid back, California vibes of the combination. Flares work best with platforms and heels, so we chose the KAANAS Seshat Ankle Wedge for lift. Finally, we accessorized with jewelry from Haley Lebeuf and Avant Garde and topped the look with a coordinating navy Panama hat from Kin/K.
Black Gives Way To Blue
We'll never give up our LBD, but this little blue dress from Karina Grimaldi might be the perfect alternative for everyday wear. It's flirty and comfortable— a perfect combination for hot summer days. We dressed it down with the KAANAS Tatacoa Fishscale Lace-up Sneakers, a handmade Jessy Made bucket bag, Avant Garde bracelets, and a Monica Ruiz for Pharaoh gold chain choker. However, you could easily transition this to night with heels and a clutch.
Blue Collar Man
This list didn't feel complete without a menswear-inspired denim-on-denim look. This chambray Rails button-down is slightly cropped, so you can see more detail of the 501-inspired J Brand Ivy High Rise Crop jean and De Palma Skinny Pin Belt in Natural. Add a feminine touch with everyday Schutz Enida heels in Neutral and the Kim White Triangle Front Pocket Bag. This look pairs great with a messy bun and aviator sunglasses.
It's All Over Now, Baby Blue
We're dying over this gorgeous Karina Grimaldi Aubrey Lace Dress. The antique-inspired halter dress is perfect for your spring and summer weddings, so we styled it simply with the Schutz Sasha Lee heel, Auden Ivy earrings, and the Mizana Collections Rose Gold Rhythm Ring. With a statement piece like this, you don't need to go overboard with the accessories.
